HONOR gets...honored
Audiences find something familiar and funny in this skewering of corporate culture
It's only 70 minutes long and that's because the action depicted is of one of those corporate meetings, a routine follow-up to the conclusion of an HR investigation. But routine becomes rollicking and what gets investigated is exactly how honor should play out in business culture today.
Ed Altman, Alinca Hamilton, and John Blaylock as the meeting gets a little heated and unintentionally hilarious
One of the things that I love about doing our play, HONOR, is those moments when audience members come up to me afterwards and speaking of our 3 characters played magnificently by Ed Altman, Alinca Hamilton, and John Blaylock say, "I know those people." That we can laugh about the craziness of corporate life seems important and I hope more of you will join us for the 2nd and 3rd weeks of our run at The Gene Frankel Theatre 24 Bond Street in the lively NoHo neighborhood of Manhattan. HONOR runs 70 minutes and tix are available at our.show/honor
The other element that brings enormous pleasure is the collaboration with these 3 fine actors. A plays just text, but actors bring it to life. The storytelling here is fast-paced and sharp by Alinca Hamilton, John Blaylock, and Ed Altman. If you're in the New York City area, we'd love to see you at the show. And then talk about it afterwards.
